The bottom line of today’s theology is that God is actually a puppeteer and while we preach free will we still bring people into a place of God teaching them and molding them we teach that all things happen through the Lord and that’s more of a puppeteer than the idea that was presented in the ancient times.
We teach that God is good and does evil only in the context of his justice that he know’s hearts rather than teaching that God is only love and love that he only gives life abundantly and doesn’t steal kill and destroy.
We are already teaching forced discipline today but what i’m presenting is the opposite.
I’ll start with what i’m not saying:
- I’m not saying this is a destruction of freewill but an embrace of it.
- I’m not saying God is a puppeteer but a father who is lavishing life upon his children whether they like it or not.
- I’m not saying that people know exactly want they want in a God this amazing. Now I haven’t been to the God making store lately but personally this idea of God as father and that he accepts all and loves all and will “deal” with them in this life or the afterlife is a lovely example of a loving father.
Here’s what I am saying:
God is a father, mankind has been infected with this idea that he is both evil and God, a great example is scarecrow in the movie batman when he releases his gas upon a person and it makes them hallucinate monsters or their fear they most dread. No matter what people do to help them they are seen as monsters that will only hurt them. We have seen our God in this way. In this lifetime or the next can only be shown that God isn’t that way but loves and as the the idea that God is hate slowly burns off their bodies one day they will be reconciled to the Lord.
We’ve preached hell as this bad place that God sends you and frankly in Jonah 2, Jonah said the same thing, he was only there for 3 days but he thought it was forever. (Verse 6) Jonah literally thought he was in Hell (Verse 1 I cried for help from the depth of Sheol)
So mostly people ask me when I say this, so why do we preach the gospel?
1 Corinthians 3:15 on to the end. We preach so that people will not suffer loss, every human being is building on the foundation of Christ because that’s the foundation that’s been laid but people build with other things rather than Christ on top of the foundation.
Those will be tested and if they burn up the man himself will be saved but he will suffer loss. The reason we preach is so that people wont suffer loss, but live life abundant. Here now today.
The idea of Annihilationism wasn’t a traditional doctrine of the Church. Universalism was, by universalism I’m not talking about any old universalism… Nor do I consider myself a universalist there are so many flavors of universalism today that state that you don’t need to believe, have faith your just accepted anyway that God lets you into heaven and you don’t need to go through Jesus and that’s just not accurate.
Do I want people to go to hell? No, I don’t want people suffering loss but embracing abundance from the only one who only gives abundance. I consider myself a believer that God will restore all things according to Acts 3:21 “For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets.”
I’ll go preach his love because he is love
Frankly, anyone who explains this can bring the verses about hellfire. I’ll post them here:
mark 9:47-48, matthew 18:8-9 Matt 3:12 Isaiah 33:10-14 matt 7:19 matt 13:40, 50 matt 25:41 john 15:6, jude 7 reve 19:19-20 rev 20:7-15 rev 21:8 matt 5:22 2nd pet 3:7-13 rev 14:9-11
I can then come back with the verses that all men will come to know the Lord
1 Corinthians 15: 22-28 1 peter 1:7-12 1 timothy 4:10 heb 2:9 eph 1:10 1tim 2:1-6 romans 11:32,36 john 12:32 1 john 2:1,2 phil 2:9-11 rom 5:18 2nd peter 3:9 psalm 22:27 matt 5:38-48 romans 14:11 col 1:20,23 romans 5:17-18
This isn’t a “Yay I found more verses than you” We can go back and forth back and forth until the website fills up but I want to make ground here.
I want to bring another dynamic into this that should of been brought in the beginning. The dynamic of the holy spirit will lead us into his true character. The character expressed through the person of Jesus Christ.
I’ll share an example:
Luke 4:18-19 ““The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
He’s quoting out of Isaiah 61 1-2. So look at Isaiah now.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor [[[[[[and the day of vengeance of our God,]]]]]]
I not only look at what Jesus says, but at what he doesn’t say. He didn’t say vengeance in his mission statement he omitted it. This is huge because it shuts down the ability for not only people but ministries to be able to scare people into the gospel and bring about an idea that God is angry and doesn’t like you. People have succeeded in this because of the lack of leading of the holy spirit but the leading of man. If Jesus didn’t show it as an example especially hellfire then I wont believe it. Since holy spirit leads me into all truth that adds another lovely dynamic.
Now, I not only have fun with that but I’ll have some fun with the scripture in 1 peter 3:19 that states literally that Jesus went and preached to souls in hell during the days of Noah
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
The last point i’ll make as was stated by William Barclay a respected Greek scholar in a previous post and this one I’d love for you to respond personally if you don’t mind I’m copying and pasting:
“Second, one of the key passages is Matthew 25:46 where it is said that the rejected go away to eternal punishment, and the righteous to eternal life. The Greek word for punishment is kolasis, which was not originally an ethical word at all. It originally meant the pruning of trees to make them grow better. I think it is true to say that in all Greek secular literature kolasis is never used of anything but remedial punishment. The word for eternal is aionios. It means more than everlasting, for Plato – who may have invented the word – plainly says that a thing may be everlasting and still not be aionios. The simplest way to out it is that aionios cannot be used properly of anyone but God; it is the word uniquely, as Plato saw it, of God. Eternal punishment is then literally that kind of remedial punishment which it befits God to give and which only God can give.”
I’m presenting idea’s that the early church believed, I used to have just the response of “The holy spirit is leading me” but now I have the theological backing of the early church while i’m not one who’s tootin a horn I really like finding out what I believe is closer to the way the people believed it in the making of the NT.
If all of this is true, it Hell isn’t a place where you will rot forever because you rejected God because he’s insecure but a place that prunes you for a spiritual season only set by God to burn off the false identities about yourself and him so that you can be reconciled to him.
Hell is real but what if it’s a spiritual insane asylum for the spiritually insane slowly bringing them to realizing they are loved. Not by force but more intensity of love but because of the idea they think about him it’s seen as torture.
I have a lot of respect for people who tithe, give money to churches, or big name people because they are releasing a part of the world that can be very addicting in their lives.
I want to talk to you about what the holy spirit has confirmed in me and what i’ve found in the scriptures ask him to confirm it in you, if you don’t know how to do that I can share that in a next status on how to do that then you wont need me anymore.
Money… Greenbacks…. Many names but many not have a lot of…
I want to start with a question, if you could find a way to better affect the community with your money would you look into it? We all don’t have a lot of it we need to be effective with it right?
Thankfully this isn’t a “Give your money to Jimi” this is a reminder of what YOU are being lead to do with your money without manipulation with complete leading of the holy spirit, not a pastor… Not a brother and most definitely not an organization
Every Sunday the plate gets passed around, the phone numbers go up, pastors preach the famous Malachi 3:10 verses. Congregations give to keep the building running, with 10% or 20% going to missions and the other 80% or less goes to payroll morgage and other things I haven’t an idea about.. I’m not going to pretend like I know what goes on financially in the church because I know it is crazy what to do with all the money coming in because many people are giving and of course many are not.
Some give monthly, some give weekly, some give yearly, some give in hopes that it will pay for their salvation and some give in hopes that it will make God stop the bad things happen because of what they’ve been taught. Some give because everyone else is and some give because the pastor says so.
I want to tell you why I don’t personally give to a church or an organization. I don’t give 10%, 5% or any particular number. I’ve found the most effective way to give is Matthew 25:35-40 and 1 John 3:17.
I may not give for days or weeks or months on end but when I find someone who’s in need on the streets because I have abundance overflowing I am able to give that person 300 dollars or something bigger. If I were to give my 10% to the church I go to every month I wouldn’t be able to do something like that… It wouldn’t work financially.
I may give the person beside of me a fill up, a missionary a huge check, a homeless man food with company (Can’t wait to do this one ) The person behind me food in the drive thru and making sure to tell the window person that I said Jesus loves them while driving away quickly giggling
The issue isn’t that “Jimi isn’t giving to a church” it’s that personally in my life as I can only speak for my own, I can just personally affect more people on the streets rather than giving money to a church. I’m sure they do a great job with their money… They better! lol
If 100% of the money you give can be completely effective in someones life, giving food, taking them into safeway and letting them go crazy or a bite to eat… Would you do it? Not because you have to but because you’re breathing in love and breathing out compassion?
This is less about the system, less about “the church can better do things with my money then I can” and less about agreeing with the entire fold.
It’s about affecting real people, releasing God’s love to the world personally through you. You are like Jesus, he called you as he is in this world. 1 John 4:17
If I were to give to a church I see it as giving half an apple to a homeless man because the organization has to continue running right? We have this established system that does established things based on doctrine, beliefs and understandings established over 1500 years of Christendom. Reformed theology over and over again, without the leading of the holy spirit.
Friend’s i’m not an organization or a 401c. I’m a person with a smile who wants to love real people on the streets, stuff has got to change when it comes to money with the church. No wonder people “outside of the fold” are saying all pastors seem to do is take our money.
I can’t find an excuse anymore to prove them wrong. What I can do however is use the rainy day savings to help someone truly in need rather than sending them to church their talking to the church, me, you and the body.
Purity, especially with finances is really important. I want people to be in love, be love even if it means the institutional church starving and the community of the homeless flourishing and getting back on their feet. Giving so that none may be in need.
If our giving was truly affecting the whole community none would be in need.
But, people are. So something is broken, it has been for many many many centuries
I just don’t want people giving to a dying business, and a business it is. It payrolls others and keeps their families going. It has become nothing different than working a 9 to 5 with the exception of more than 120 hours a week without the payment of it. Pastors work really really hard.
We see some fruit in the church and its giving but speaking shop talk, I see a 300% increase in effectiveness with personal giving to personal people rather than personal people giving to an organization.
It’s happened in my life and now I want to share it with the world.
Some things I’ve been finding out about institutional church are interesting. I’m not against the people inside the institutional church but I am against the system that sets itself up against the things of the kingdom. Legislation or action in Christ. If it’s manipulation, control or power “sucking” I want to see people set free from it.
There’s a guy named Dave Olson, He’s the director of American Church Research Project says in the 1990s about 3,200 churches closed each year–or 1.1 percent of U.S. Christian congregations. And, Olson added, “In the 2000s, it has been 3,700 a year
Goodmanson says that:
In America, 3500 – 4000 churches close their doors each year
Half of all churches last year did not add one new member through conversion growth
Churches lose an estimated 2,765,000 people each year to nominalism and secularism
Andy Mcadams from his research in: The Condition of the Church in America
1,400 pastors in America leave the ministry monthly.
Only 15% of churches in the United States are growing and just 2.2% of those are growing by conversion growth.
10,000 churches in America disappeared in a five-year period.

Does anyone see that the institutional church is losing?!?!? Does anyone see that Islam the supposed “Peaceful” religion is winning? (Not that Christianity is a religion, it’s the end of all religions) Does anyone see that the occult is wining? That they are doing the stuff WE are supposed to be doing? I’m not one to say get off of the sinking ship because there are a few churches out there really bringing the kingdom to the best of their ability. I’ve always been one to say that if the Church is bringing you life keep going but if it’s not don’t see or feel any obligation to stay.
From a more personal experience, Most of my friends from my old churches I go too (With the exception of those i’ve had to shutdown and the VERY few amount of people that I can count on my hand) have completely stopped talking to me on a personal level with the exception of “how’s your job! your house, the stuff that everyone knows…”
I like asking questions that get people thinking, i’m not interested in getting everyone to leave the institutional church but I am interested in getting people to ask their own questions about the congregations they attend because once they begin questioning, what their hearts and holy spirit are saying become confirmed either in realizing that their hasn’t been any wind in the sails in a long time OR their faith is strengthened because they’ve been through the “pruning” so to speak and are dug deeper into the ground of the kingdom
So why do you go to church every Sunday? What does Hebrews 10:15-25 mean to you? Does it mean assembling in a building shut off from the world? Does it mean assembling together like at a Starbucks coffee table talking about your lives in a real fashion? Does it mean changing the way the whole institutional church works from moving the way the chairs are facing to look into each others eyes instead of the back of each others heads? Do I need to go through a church to experience God now that I know him personally? When you look at the IC (institutional church) do you see the leadership and question its biblical foundations based on the foundations of Jesus? Do you question the role of a pastor in it’s congregation as you can’t find anything in the bible that states that he needs to be up there every sunday? We’ve put so much pressure on our pastors to set an example feeding us like little children. They are burnt out.. HeeeyWOAHHH?!? Does anyone see even the money situation at the church? Do you question if church has become a business? Have you experienced the continued destruction of friendships to keep the business going? Do you go to church every sunday and wonder if there is more?!
Have you walked away from the church to find more in him they are talking about? Only to find out that you were really in bondage by continuing to go? Do you question the supposed grace the church walks in?
Does the very definition of church having it’s own building, government and hierarchy bring you to question based on the revelations from the same bible they read and preach?
Did you know that you ARE the church? The questions above are real questions that you can more than answer below
Ten reasons why I have questioned the modern view of Christianity in regards to healing, identity and view of the father0
Understand this isn’t a fully explained deal, these are snippets to get peoples gears turning, I can explain them individually at another time, think of this note as a summary of the 10 reasons
One of the biggest reasons why I have questioned many modern views of Christianity towards a couple of subjects is taking what I believe to it’s logical conclusion, not only that but the holy spirit’s leading. While taking those subjects to the Lord and allowing him to unlearn a lot of what i’ve been taught, I’ve seen a demonstration of his power in my life, and through others lives.
1.”Everything that happens is God’s will.” 2nd Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
With this phrase, think about the tsunami’s, Mom’s and dads experiencing cancer, even you experiencing sickness and disease. Little children experiencing rape in sex trafficking every day. If God doesn’t will that any should parish why do people still parish? After I started asking that question the Lord shifted my question into, “Does everything that happens happen because God allowed it or commanded it?” The holy spirit gave me an answer that caused a lot of stir and still does today.
I’ll bring the answer in the form of healing, Jesus went around healing everyone. Everywhere, everyone he touched got healed, raised and delivered. There wasn’t one person that Jesus didn’t heal he healed them all, He didn’t even say to any of them, go your way I’m teaching you how to become closer to me by this sickness, and then lies the 2nd point. If God were to command in his love my mother to experience cancer as Jesus died on the cross for her healing, and Isaiah 53:5 says that by his stripes she is healed. God would have to apologize to Jesus because Jesus didn’t really finish the job. Now, we know that isn’t true. Jesus did finish the job. So, no not everything that happens is God’s will. If we don’t realize that God truly loves us and we are not in a performance based gospel we will continue waiting on God to do something in healing or in “control” when in reality we are his something/someone to go and do through.
Just look at the way Jesus did his thang, did he ever act like and do like what we do today? “Honey, its God’s will for you to be sick, or God made me paralyzed so that I wouldn’t live a sexually promiscuous lifestyle” Jesus never said any of these things. I put my trust completely in Jesus as Lord and savior, and follow his example, becoming completely like him.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12
We will do the same things he is doing, and the will stops when we say it stops, it changes into “Has become” We have to remember something that is paramount, Life and life abundantly Jesus, Steal kill and destroy, Satan. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
That means no sickness, Jesus paid for it.
Jesus always wills that people be healed (physically) just like being saved Matthew 12:15
Jesus always wills that tsunami’s go byebye Mark 4:35-41
Jesus always wills that young children be back with their parents and not in sex trafficking being violated -Common sense
Jesus always wills that cancer be gone byebye -Common sense
Jesus always wills that all people will come to him, and that will happen John 12:32 And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, Jesus himself likewise partook of the same nature, that through death he might destroy HIM WHO HAS THE POWER OF DEATH, THAT IS, THE DEVIL.” Hebrews 2:14. NOT GOD.
2. “God is teaching you something by you being sick” You know, I used to hold to this till the death, and I used to get sick all the time. I hear of stories all the time were people have said based on the outcome of their lives that the sickness has been the best thing that has happened to them. Perhaps John 10:10 really isn’t true? Perhaps Jesus comes to steal kill and destroy too to bring life? I just can’t put God and Satan in the same bed. I have to and will divide the 2 and present it to the world. Even atheists take this point out to its logical conclusion, “If this God that you say is God, and wants me to experience sickness so that I may be “purged” I don’t want anything to do with him” and I don’t blame him/her. I wouldn’t either. Not once as explained above did Jesus ever demonstrate this being the case. Some people bring job to the table as being an accurate doctrine for keeping this phrase and belief so, as Bill Johnson would say “I am not a disciple of job, I am a disciple of Jesus”
The answer behind someone saying that sickness was the best thing that happened to them, It was because they turned to God during the sickness and continued to grow, the same thing would of happened if they turned into his relational face during health. I’m a walking testimony of that right now, I don’t need things to go upside down to grow in Christ, because I know those things steal kill and destroy. I can grow when things are going great and get a whole lot more stuff done. Now to those who are going through crap right now, I completely relate to you, it sucks. I just wont accept anymore that a “trial from God” is awaiting around the corner.
3. “God hates you” or the more down to earth “God is angry with you”
I’ll bring a particular church that will not be named but everyone knows who i’m talking about, “God hates fags” “God hates you come back to God” “Thank God your soldiers died” Picketing funerals instead of going and raising the soldier who died. IF we take our doctrine to its logical conclusion we will come to the same conclusion as this church. “God is angry, don’t make him angry at you don’t feel like he’s your daddy because he’s dangling you over the pits of hell awaiting you to mess up so that he can drop you in” (Taken from Sinners in the hands of an angry God) Is that the Jesus you know? Is that who he is? and who he’s demonstrated? I’ve heard people also say that Jesus didn’t represent God fully, that he didn’t represent God in his anger. Jesus fully represented the father in John 14:9 he calls himself fully one with him. He represented him fully. I’d like to bring you to a well known verse in Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,
You know where he’s quoting from there? It’s Isaiah 61.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[vengeance]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] of our God,
Look back and forth at the 2 bible verses, what did he leave out? The vengeance of our God! He left it out! Jesus has no wrath towards us. None byebye! YAY!
God doesn’t hate you, he loves you. I have taken that to the bank. Check out song of solomon 4:9. He’s talking about you
4. “You are a worthless sinner who can do nothing You are a sinner saved by grace”
Then why did Jesus make me? IF I am that low of value than I am worth nothing to die for. If I am to struggle my entire life just getting by hoping that I can catch some form of worth but falling short of it, I might as well commit suicide. (Have you been there? I have)
I have been the place of just feeling worthless, as I’ve been taught. Completely missing the point of:
Being seated in heavenly places Eph 2:6
Being a saint Ephesians 1:1; 1 Corinthians 1:2; Philippians 1:1;
Being reconciled to God and an ambassador 2 Corinthians 5:18,19
Being and heir of the father and a join heir of Christ Galatians 4:6,7; Romans 8:17
Being a child of God and having God as my spiritual father Romans 8:14,15; Galatians 3:26; 4:6; John1:12
Being a completely new creation in Christ 2Corinthians 5:17
Being God’s workmanship Ephesians 2:10
Being a citizen of heaven Ephesians 2:19; Philippians 3:20
Being united to the Lord and one spirit with him 1Corinthians 6:17
Being the temple of the holy spirit 1Corinthians 3:16; 6:19
Being a friend of Christ, a slave of righteousness and the righteousness of God in Christ John15:15 Romans 6:18 2Corinthians 5:21
Being chosen and ordained by Christ to bear fruit John15:16
Being righteous and holy Ephesians 4:24
I could go on and on and on I have about 3 pages of these “beings” that just don’t add up to what i’ve been taught that I am a sinner saved by grace. If you read through pauls letters specificly the corinthians who were all messed up, he said GREETINGS SAINTS!
2 Cor 1:1 NLT
This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Timothy. I am writing to God’s church in Corinth and to all of his holy people throughout Greece.
I found out recently that Corinth is part of Greece! Paul called God’s holy spirit saints even though they were messing up the party in Churches and Paul was like STOP IT!
We are saints saved by grace, not sinners.
5. “The bible is the authoritative word of God, inspiration doesn’t really mean inspiration”
This is heavy for a lot of people, but we are taught not to argue with the “word of God.” We are taught to let the bible lead us, to read it everyday so that the “word of Gawd” might be in us. I’ll include a great point from my buddy Richard
The New Testament does NOT refer to itself as the Word of God. The phrase occurs nearly 50 times in New Testament, and it is not referring to the Bible. Here are some examples. “They spoke the word of God with boldness” Acts 4:31 (also see 13:46). “They preached the word of God in the synagogues of Judea” Acts 13:5 (contrast this with Philip’s ministry to the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8:35 when Phillip “preached untohim Jesus”). “The word of God is not bound” 2 Timothy 2:9. “The word became flesh and dwelt among us” John 1:14. “His name is called the Word of God” Revelation 19:13. Are these passages talking about a book, or are they talking about a person, a presence, a palpable power to be encountered and experienced?
Remember , the New Testament did not exist at the time the above passages were written, and even the Old T estament wouldn’t fit the context of these verses. They Apostles didn’t preach a magic document but a dynamic presence. Certainly , Scripture was used to confirm and clarify the identity and purposes of that dynamic presence, but it was never equated WITH that presence. A key passage where the terms “Scripture” and “the word of God” are clearly NOT used interchangeably is Acts 17:1 1, “…they received the word with all eagerness, daily examining the scriptures whether these things were so.” The Bible always refers to itself as either the Scriptures, the Holy Scriptures or in part the Law, the Prophets or the Writings.
So, when did the New Testament Scripture become known as the Word of God? If the early church originally considered “the Word of God” to be Christ IN us rather than written Scriptures, when did that change? It is not that Scripture isn’t wonderful, helpful and crucial. BUT IT ISN’T THE WORD OF GOD. JESUS IS. So, where and when did we change the Word of God from being a “person” to being a “thing?” Why did we do this?
Reading by the letter
The bible is 1) Letters from Apostles
2) Gospels of Jesus’ life and ministry
3) Revelation of apocalyptic events
4) New Covenant promises per 2 Peter 1:3-5 and Hebrews 8:6-13 (read carefully)
And Finally “Want to hear a hard truth? THE LESS THE CHURCH RECOGNIZED AND PRIORITIZED THE LORDSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ALL THINGS, THE MORE THE CHURCH ELEVATED “SCRIPTURE” INTO BECOMING “THE WORD OF GOD!”
2 Corinthians 3:6 says that we are “able ministers of the New Covenant ; NOT ‘OF’ THE LETTER, but ‘OF’ the
Spirit: for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
Thanks Richard Murray
Jesus is the word of God, he is the word of God became flesh John 1:1 The holy spirit will lead us into all truth and using the bible to do it! I have a high view of scripture, but I don’t view scripture as God, I view God as God and scripture a window for me to experience him. I view scripture as a spring board into an experience with God.
6. Our words
The words I use are very important, even if I don’t feel like using them, this comes naturally to a believer as he/she walks out with the holy spirit You whole body becomes light and you just see no need to express darkness.
For example, “I don’t get sick” If I can brag in Christ for a little bit, I haven’t been sick in almost a year and a half. No colds, no flu, even being around people everyday who are sick at work. I will hug them and shake their hand, and I will go home all happy and healthy, this is a miracle in itself, If you know me personally you know the way I eat, Meat. Mmmmmm Bacon With the exception of yesterdays headache due to too many hours on a video games I haven’t had one trip to the doctor in 2-4 years.
It becomes my reality, its not something I speak over myself religiously I have just realized that I can live in the reality of being healed already and I don’t let anything come into me that would allow that reality to be broken, call me crazy call me whatever, it’s working and it’s amazing. Most of the time I get pain in my body it’s for someone else, I get to go to that person and say “HEY! What’s wrong with your back” and freak them out because that’s their back pain and not mine, it’s become an excellent tool for lifestyle of demonstration of God’s power and love.
If I can live in that reality so can you.
7. Jesus’ love for me
Jesus really does love me, he’s like crazy in love with me, he calls me his bride his friend his love and if the creator says that about me, I aint in no way gonna believe anything that damages that because the experiences i’ve had with him complement and confirm that he’s in love with me.
My love for him is like the songs of solomon. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth.
I have this funny phrase that we use together, “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his lips, let him love me with the lovely’s of his love. Let him to be to me eternally ever falling in love.”
You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace. song of solomon 4:9 NIV
You have captivated my heart, my sister, my bride; you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes, with one jewel of your necklace. ESV
Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.
I never really understood why Jesus died for me until I read that bible verse, but when I saw that when I glance up at him I captivate his heart over and over again. I then understood. I can’t help but leap because the creator loves me like that.
I ravish his heart.
8. The comfort in believing in a God who is all love all the time
Some of you know what my lovely mother is going through right now, she’s experiencing Cancer in her lung as well as her brain. She’s been on Chemo for a while as well as radiation. I’ve had a lot of people come up to me and ask me if I am Okay, Most of you that know me know that I stand against the diagnoses and the prognosis of cancer and anything that steal kills and destroys. I love my mom, I am with her, I hang out with her more and more comforting her, I will not accept that this is God’s will nor is it ever, I came to that conclusion long before my mom was diagnosed with that and I still stand for it. Hanging out with my mom we’ve had some pretty interesting progress in the “GTFO” of the cancer she’s experiencing So we continue, because when the doctors are done or even when the healing has completely manifested before the doctors are finished or even when the doctors finish and bring about a successful treatment I will consistently stand and love for my mom because this isn’t her cancer, NO ONE deserves cancer or anything that the enemy throws at us.
Now, I am so comforted by this, I am able to continue on everyday with a happy face because my God loves her and wants her healed. I don’t blame those who believe that it’s God’s will for people to be sick having a REALLY hard time with their lives because it becomes a paradox of God being love and God being evil at the same time. I would love to comfort those people because I don’t know what I would be doing if I were not living in this reality that God heals today. SuperNormally. I am here to talk and relate if you like…
I’m doing great, I am healthy, loved and full of grace for other people I understand a lot of people love me and want me to come to church this and that, I love you too, Call me, let’s be friends outside of the church building if your really that interested (That’s all i’ll say about that)
I get to see her all the time knowing that my daddy wants her healed and he wants to do it through me, or through the doctors or anyone else who goes and prays for her.
This is why i’m comforted, Call me different call me unique call me call me crazy call me not one who’s running to a whole bunch of people crying on how its God’s will wondering why my mom is experiencing sickness.
I’m great, let’s go and pray for my mom, remember, we are not banding a huge prayer chain together with enough force to twist God’s arm into healing her. It is his will to be healed and lets go heal her. Bringing me to my next point.
9. Commissioned to go
You are commissioned to go when you fall in love with him.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
You cannot “outreach” if you don’t love God, or aren’t in love with him outreach isn’t a task its a lifestyle. The Jehovah’s Witnesses have a awesome thing going, what if the Christians went door to door and brought God’s healing power. BOOM.
Hmm great idea
We have been commanded to:
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give. Matthew 10:8
If we are still freely receiving from God as we are receiving his salvation and his love then we can still give as well. Give love, healing and grace and life
You MUST experience point 7 and point 8 before you can experience this one. When you love your Lord God with all of your heart you love yourself because YOU ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE.
10 What ever you believe about the father is what you BECOME.
I’m sure you remember before the church I was talking about, they have become what they believe about the father, as you will become what you believe about the father, if you believe he is love you will only be love, if you believe him to be angry, then you’ll be angry at everyone you’re close too even your spouse or husband.
What you behold is what you become friends, become love become like Jesus, its not what would Jesus do, its What do I do now that Jesus is in me. Become love.
I want to talk to you about trials and tribulations in light of a loving God. I grew up in the church thinking the only way to receive revelation. Was beating beaten down by the devil over and over surrendering to God in the name of him teaching me something. I’ve heard things attributed in this like, sickness, death, hard time in life, pornography, childhood and among other things. I can remember time and time again where I would seek revelation but only when i’m having a hard time because that’s where I was taught where the Lord was and is most effective.
Friends this is a lie. Let me tell you something out of experience, I often wondered what it would be like to receive from God when things are going great, amazing. As life should be, but what I’ve been taught is when things and life get this way, I become prideful, arrogant and unteachable. That don’t worry “your’s is coming” as if as a Christian I ALWAYS needed to be in a trial and tribulation somehow being purified in the fire.
This is really interesting because the only way I’ll be able to receive is to desire to be in a tribulation, since that is my desire and desire is everything in the kingdom. Boom, happens.
Ever talk to a person who identifies themselves as atheist or an agnostic? They don’t nearly walk around with such fear that they are going to fall into some hole and be “Characterfied” Many of them have challenges, which I am not shoving out the window here… but They seem to live much happier lives than Christians. And we want to invite them into the kingdom so that they can “STRUGGLE” just like us? Don’t forgive me with this, but I will not bringing anyone in the kingdom that way.
Here’s my issue, we move through life always waiting right around the corner for some huge wrecking ball to wreck our lives, We imagine it, picture it. Think on it and in that we literally invite it into our environment. Then boom, then we say God is teaching me and molding my character. To them I say “Bro I love you, but God doesn’t have to wreck your life that damages you and other people, destroys relationships in the name of molding your character”
I’ve been told things like, “Jimi, you only listen to God when your down in the dumps and not surrendering to him”. AS IF I am not surrendering to him when things are going GREAT. Didn’t Jesus PROMISE us ” I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full?”
Why have we been taught this way? My guess is manipulation and control. There’s something in a business package when your presenting it in competition that shares this is better because Agnosticism and Protestant Christianity…. They are the 2 on the table, Agnosticism seems to enjoy life but still has the same challenges that many Christians do. Protestant Christianity seems to consistently beat themselves to a pulp and tell themselves and other people how much worthless sinners they are.
I’d rather be an agnostic personally, because if God is so big he has to be so much bigger and better than that. No wonder people want nothing to do with the Jesus. The life they are living is so much more fulfilling than the one they are being presented with.
Then a 3rd guy comes in at the last minute, His proposal? GRACE. He shares how it is free, life abundant, becoming who you are without destroying your self identity, walking out just like Jesus with him, and in love with him, your church is everywhere, not inside 4 walls.. I have not had ONE PERSON reject the gospel from the 3rd guy approach. Have you? Have you accepted it? Have you tried it?
Have you rejected the devils schemes? or just let him come and eat your lunch in the name of God’s teaching me by you eating me lunch. NO THATS MY LUNCH GET OFF.
Do I have a problem with Trials? Only when we say they come from God when the fruit of them steals kills and destroys. We love welcoming Satan right in the foyer and walking away to get him a cup of water when then he steals all of our jewelery and runs out the door. Truth is we just don’t know who we are as a community, a body and children of God and until that time that we do their will be small groups of people rising up, fore-running this lovely little idea that God is a good God and doesn’t let any bad thing happen OR isn’t in direct puppet control of the world.
Conclusion? Trials and tribulations will happen, but that doesn’t mean you have to accept them with open arms and say YAY! Come to MEEEEEE! That isn’t life abundant. I’ve learned more in the past 3 years of life going amazing than my 2 years of struggling as a Christian combined.
When we walk out in love and with love and in love with our creator, trials and tribulations become more of a nuisance than a necessity.
I want to go in depth here share my heart sooooo Enjoy….
I’ve been in camps where if you didn’t agree with what the bible said according to their understanding your seen as one who’s threatening rather than someone who’s loving… Here’s my desire, that you experience the father in his fullness without any hindrance from religion or man. They will keep you back, put you in a box, lock the door, until you scream I QUIT. I have quit Christianity as a religion. I have quit institutional church. So before you scream “HES BEEN HURT” listen up… What if I’m just tired of the “man over God’s plan”? What if the first question above is one of the sole questions that allows, and even encourages the religious bondage that many of us have been part of? What if I’m finding God more outside the church than inside? Does that mean I’ve been hurt? Or that I’m onto something big? That many many many people are also finding that while the institutional church has done some incredible things. It’s losing. It’s sinking. The community has gone out the window, the preaching is by one man who screams biblical when NOTHING in the bible says that there needs to be a one pastor in charge and leading a church… I’m getting off topic… So before I get crazy in this rant.. Back to the bible.
Is the bible the word of God that so many have claimed it to be? No the bible is not the word of God. It never claims to be the word of God. This is called Bibolatry. Jesus is the word… John 1:1
Here’s an excerpt from my buddy Richard.
“The New Testament does NOT refer to itself as the Word of God. The phrase occurs
nearly 50 times in New Testament, and it is not referring to the Bible. Here are some
examples. “They spoke the word of God with boldness” Acts 4:31 (also see 13:46).
“They preached the word of God in the synagogues of Judea” Acts 13:5 (contrast this
with Philip’s ministry to the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8:35 when Phillip “preached unto
him Jesus”). “The word of God is not bound” 2 Timothy 2:9. “The word became flesh
and dwelt among us” John 1:14. “His name is called the Word of God” Revelation
19:13. Are these passages talking about a book, or are they talking about a person, a
presence, a palpable power to be encountered and experienced?”
John 5:39 “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me”, and Isaiah 28:5-14
What about primary leading and direction? Does the bible claim that it primarily leads its followers? Romans 8:14 “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
Hear that? It doesn’t say those who are lead by the bible are the children of God it says spirit. How about John 16:13? “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” Keep in mind again, because a little tidbit here, The bible wasn’t out until about 120 years after Jesus died and rose again. What did its followers do without a new testament bible? Who did they listen too? Think it may of been the spirit of God? What if something isn’t in the bible? What do we do?
The bible doesn’t say that the bible has everything you need to live a life of Godliness. It is said that you already have everything you need. Bible or not. Let me ask you this. Let’s say martial law happens, and they take all of our bibles away. How many Christians would be still around? Didn’t the inspired scripture say that he has written his laws upon our hearts? That we’ve been made a new creation and have the mind of Christ? Yes he said that. My bible is a tool to explore my inheritance, but it isn’t God. My bible is a springboard into a experience and more experiences with my God. What is your bible?
Now hear me please, I have a high view of scripture. I love scripture, Scripture is inspired but it is NOT word for word dictated. It captures in essence the authors principles and word he/she wanted to convey. I hear so many say “THIS IS A WERD FROM GAWWD” I’m like dude, What does the holy spirit say to you? Does he confirm that? Does he divide and guide your hand changing scripture, Yes I said it. Jesus did it too. haha to capture the principal of the Jesus Christ? That of love, compassion, leading into a romance between man and his creator? What does inspired mean? “imbued with the spirit to do something, by or as if by supernatural or divine influence: an inspired poet.” Does it mean taken over? No! It means to affect someone or something according to an impulse of something higher or greater, (OR someone )
We cannot keep going in the rate many are going, so many see it to be truth to make sure that everyone believes the exact same thing or they are chastised, condemned and “Held in accountability” because its outside the churches theology… I’ve seen the spirit work, its amazing… It’s incredible being in rest not feeling like you have to do something its been done just rest. That’s faith friends. It has nothing to do with your willpower but rest in the will and the purpose and the comfort of God. I had such a narrow view of the world when I thought like I did before. I see mountains to climb, valleys or friendships to embark on with people that are searching too. I am so Tired of the religious system that aims to bring someone closer to God but actually pushes them away and makes them so scared and feeling so worthless that they want nothing to do with the God they are preaching..
Ending with this: I quit the religious system and I saved a whole bunch of money by switching to giving in abundance. Rather than tithing which is a topic for another discussion. Remember that if your bible is claimed to be the word of God that elevates your understanding to be God because you can only see God to the ceiling of your understanding, and the moment someone comes and challenges you, you lose your paradigm because that understanding has become your safety net rather than Jesus Lord of Lords being your safety net and you’ve brought back the law Jesus fulfilled and did away with.
Peter asked Sapphira in the literal Greek of Acts 5 verse 9, ” Why did the two of you agree to pressure the Spirit?” (Word Study Greek-English New Testament, Paul R. McReynolds, Tyndall, pp. 441 (1999). In other words, why did you two push away the protective presence of God? The implication is clear then that Satan, not God, is the culprit here. Satan “filled their hearts” to lie, then Ananias and Sapphira quenched away God’s protective presence with their sin, then Satan filled the vacuum in their hearts with his oppressive condemnation, and they both died.
McReynolds’ interlinear translation of 1 Corinthians 10:9 describes this same dynamic. “But not we might PRESSURE OUT the Christ, just as some of them PRESSURED andby the snakes were destroyed.” Interlinear translations can be a little awkward to our ear, but they often give us the gold of better understanding Scripture texts.
Do you see what this Acts passage now describes? Ananias and Sapphira’s rampant neglect and disbelief toward God, combined with their fear toward their circumstances, all combined to do the following. THEY PRESSURED OUT THE PROTECTIVE PRESENCE OF CHRIST AND WERE DESTROYED BY SATAN.
How do we know God didn’t kill them? Because Hebrews 2:14-15 says Satan has the power of death, not God. John 10:10 says Satan kills men, not God. 1 Corinthians 5:5 says Satan destroys the flesh of men, not God and actually, the passage doesn’t say anybody killed them, but they themselves “gave up the ghost” (spirit) AFTER hearing Peter’s words of condemnation. It may well be that they feared Peter’s words so much that they just surrendered their will to live. We all know, or have heard of, people who give up on life in despair, some gradually, others in an instant in time. Some “give up their spirit” because of a broken heart, or impending sickness or disaster. Perhaps they were so worried about their sin because it was one of the first of the church age, and they thought it was perhaps unforgivable.
In other words, it appears Annanias and Sapphira were condemned to death. But was this God’s will? Was it God’s best? Did Peter show them the same grace he himself received when he betrayed the Lord? What if somebody in apostolic authority, James or John for instance, told Peter to essentially “drop dead” in the wake of his sin, might he also have given up the ghost?
Did Peter extend God’s grace to them to NOT hold this sin to their account, as Jesus did, as the martyr Stephen did, or did he even try to minister repentance to them, to counsel them, to pray for them, to intercede for them, to lay hands on them to be forgiven and healed, or any of the other things later Scripture and later Church practice advised?
What about this passage? “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault , ye which are spiritual , restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself , lest thou also be tempted .” Galatians 6:1.
Was the spirit of this above passage followed? No, Peter appeared to quickly and immediately condemn them, then he just stepped out of the way and let the Devil have them. If lying to the Holy Spirit by holding back some of our resources REALLY mandated immediate Holy Ghost execution, then how many of us would still be
standing? How many of us would not have been executed long ago? Perhaps the morale of this passage is more about Peter’s mercy-deficit than it is about Annaias and
These are all questions the Holy Spirit wants to minister to us. It is understandable that the infant Church might have less tolerance and patience than a more mature and experienced group of believers. I know when I was newly converted and freshly fervent in the Spirit, my tolerance level for others’ unbelief was small. I would have been just as firm and ferocious as Peter. But, with time and maturity, my patience for people’s shortcomings, sins, and failures has exponentially increased. I am not nearly as quick to pull the condemnation trigger as I used to be.
Paul had the courage to “withstand Peter to his face” when Peter was wrong (Galatians 2:11). Perhaps WE should “withstand Peter to his face” in this passage as well. But regardless, one thing is certain. God did not kill Ananias and Sapphira. Satan did. Satan was certainly working lies and crippling condemnation in their hearts, and possibly in the hardening Peter’s heart toward them as well. But, Satan was the true assassin here any way you look at it.

It has been quite a while!
Some of your have realized we (I, James) haven’t posted in FOREVER, I’ve been stepping back, going back to foundation in what I believe and really been seeking a deeper personal relationship with God, it has been incredible. I’m going to a church that is pouring into me, and is happy to be part of my healing journey. I do what to be honest with all of you and say this, My vision for this ministry is to see it give out so much encouragement that discouragement will no longer be able to stand in our scope of influence, a great start is twitter. This is easy since the darkness cannot overcome the light, John 1:5.
I also want to say something else, Ever since I started this ministry I have had a couple of people but it has been mostly myself (James) running and maintaining the ministry I have always had a vision that multiple people would be maintaining, and pouring into people on twitter and Facebook. Little side note, I have deleted my personal Facebook which shutdown Yay Jesus on Facebook. Its still there but nothing is happening with it at the moment. My concentration for the next 6 months is going to be twitter, and this website Lord willing. The Lord has given me massive peace that I cannot keep inside but must keep moving foreword and sharing because it is contagious.
I want to take this ministry in a direction where testimonies are shared of people getting healed, raising the dead, goodness of God and just that old fashioned encouragement that makes you have all them butterflies inside! I want others to see, that God still moves today. That he is willing to move amongst his children, While he is a mystery, He will and has unleashed his love among his children through signs and wonders. They haven’t gone anywhere!
I want everyone to see that they can do it too, in Christ. My sharing of what God has done isn’t to glorify me. Its to glorify him, because he is Lord.
