The past couple of weeks God has been asking me a recurring question “Do you really want to see what I can do?” As a Christian we have to be very careful the way we answer this question. Although its a simple “Yes” or “No” What happens after you say yes will rock your world if you don’t know what you are getting into. The tragedy for a Christian is to be comfortable. To love your Job is excellent, to love your church family is even better. But, if we don’t challenge ourselves/allow mentors and pastors to challenge us. We will be stalemate and Satan will have his Checkmate. I have a huge love for seeing God in action. I love miracles, signs, breath’s of life, all around God moving mountains in a day.
The Pharisees however desired to see a sign first before having faith in Jesus.
(Mark 12-38-43)
Jesus wants us to awe in his wonders and signs but he FIRST wants us to have faith in him by foundation. Then he works in his Children by strengthening the faith with signs and wonders that move mountains and part many waters for the kingdom of God.
God did start with signs in the book of exodus. Although the people forgot time and time again his wonders because their foundation were not in him.
So the conclusion is, Don’t make your foundation of your faith God’s wonders and amazing works. There is a much deeper intimacy with actually trusting a God who can do something about your current situation, while at the same time carrying out his plan, hope and not disaster for you.
So, Let God ask this through me, “Do you really want to see what I can do?” – GOD “Yes or NO”
YAY JESUS!
